The sole purpose of this blog is to make us all aware of the need for inner silence, solitude and contemplation in a noisy and busy world. I will give my thoughts and comments and hope that others will contribute their experiences of solitude amid a busy world.
There are many people now who are seeking solitude, an hermetical lifestyle that allows each person to find God, the power beyond all of us, who lives within and around us. We just have to take the time, make the time and space to allow that voice enter into our lives and so transform us.
Centuries ago, men went into the desert to 'get away' from the world. But they were often sought out for their wisdom and inner peace. Their flight was to seek God, but those who could not find God also sought to find them and so find their God.
Men and women have always sought to find inner peace. Whether they be Christian, Moslem,Hindu or Buddhist, each one seeks to find the Creator in solitude.
